Coleus - Kong Mosaic

The Coleus Kong Mosaic, 'Coleus hybrid', has bright green leaves with splashes of red and cream. These new, bigger, sun loving varieties have revolutionized container gardening. The brilliant colors explode in sunny locations. Coleus plants are durable and easy to grow however they are tender annuals. Frost will cause them to die immediately. Coleus plants are so colorful that many people keep them and use them as a house plant. These plants will do best in temperatures above 55 degrees. Flower buds should be pinched off as soon as they develop. If a coleus plant is allowed to seed, it has completed its life cycle and will die. Coleus must have good soil drainage. The Tulip 'Carnaval de Nice', 'Tulipa double late', a fall planted bulb has stunning petals that are white with splashes of red on each petal. These tulips appear late in the Tulip season on sturdy, relatively short stems. They are truly splendid! These tulips bloom in late spring for a 3 week period.For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 to 15 bulbs of one variety, or scatter clusters throughout the garden or flower border.
